Being a content creator is no easy task; it requires an immense amount of creativity to stand out from the crowd.

That being said, there are a lot of resources available that make every content creator’s life easier. Unfortunately, most creators don’t even know that these resources exist! In this article, I’ll give you 8 free & paid resources that every content creator should consider.

1 – TubeBuddy

TubeBuddy is a free (optional paid version) resource designed specifically for YouTube. It allows creators to do keyword research on specific topics and determine the level of competition of each keyword. From there, creators can assess whether or not their videos should rank in each keyword’s search results.

2 – Zoom Webinar

I think that we’re all aware of what Zoom is and what its functions are. For those who don’t know, however, Zoom is a paid resource. It is free however if your college uses it – and if you have an alumnus email. Among many other functions, Zoom allows creators to organize interviews with potential clients/collaborations. It’s also a very good tool to record podcasts.

3 – Hashtagify.me

Hashtagify.me is a free (with an optional paid version) tool for Instagram that focuses directly on helping creators complete hashtag research. It’s a very simple tool – you enter one hashtag and the tool provides related hashtags, influencers, and recent tweets related to that topic. This in turn allows you to further grow your audience on Instagram.

4 – Grammarly

Grammarly is a free (with an optional paid version) writing assistant tool for creators. I strong believe that everyone should have access to Grammarly; I use the free version every single day for both my blog writing and website copy.

5 – Google Forms

Google Forms is a very good tool for anyone looking to gain more insight into both their own brand and their users’ desires. I’ve used Google Forms before to poll my audience and come up with solid ideas over future product launches, YouTube video ideas, etc.

6 – Canva

Canva is an incredible visual tool that will help you do everything. From designing YouTube banners to creating blog post templates, they cover almost everything in between.

Canva is a free tool with a paid version attached. In the free version, you get access to everything you need and more. If creators don’t already know about Canva, they’re missing out.

7 – Notion

Notion is the best productivity tool out there, and every single creator should have access to it.

For a single individual, Notion is completely free, and trust me when I say this, it’s awesome. You can customize everything in Notion, from creating calendars to timelines, to-do lists, and much more.

8 – Adobe Premiere Pro

In order to make great videos, you’re going to need to invest in the Adobe suite.

Adobe Premiere Pro is one of the most powerful video editing tools available in the world. It will teach you how to make incredible visual footage for your content platforms. It is not a free tool, but if you’ve progressed away from the beginner stages in your content creation process (specifically, in video production), I highly recommend considering this.

The Bottom Line

Content creation is an art that’s only going to be in higher demand as the years go by. As you move forward in your journey as a creator, make sure to use resources that smoothen the process and make your life easier. These 8 are a great start!
